Overview[]
The Sannin are three renowned ninja from Noharagakure, hailed as the greatest of their time.
As genin, the three were the students of Jett Uchiha, known as "The Striking Fury". During their time under Jett's tutelage, they all learned to use the Summoning Technique, which they perform with their left hands. Despite being a team and having accomplished great things together, the three members were always in constant disagreement with one another, which Jett referred to as a "three-way deadlock". Later on, Stan was forced out of the village and Kagami went rogue. The only loyal Nohara shinobi who stayed in the village was Kenji Nara. When all of this happened, they were skilled ninja able to look after themselves. Jett's team was disbanded.
Despite the attitude of their team, the three continued to work together on missions. During one battle with Kroehling of the Salamander, they were the only Nohara ninja to survive her attacks. As a reward for this, Kroehling dubbed them "Nohara's Legendary Sannin", a title that would follow them for the rest of their lives and which they themselves would use with pride. However, that same battle was the last one they fought together; happening upon Stan officially becoming a Shinigami, Kagami made a deal with him and abandoned the village. Kenji however, chose to remain in Nohara with Jett. By the time the war started, Both Stan and Kagami were dubbed international criminals. Kenji, Jett, and a new member of their team named Kenzie Uchiha were all tasked to retrieve Kagami to track his and Stan's movements. After the Fourth Shinobi World War Kenji, Stan, and Kagami finally understood one another and their views and how all this time their goals weren't really so different. After this realization the three were able to become a team again without disagreements.
